Welcome to Alphotel Eiger
Alphotel Eiger, a small hotel with 6 newly renovated, modern double rooms is located in Beatenberg, on the sun-terrace of the Bernese Oberland. All rooms feature a shower/toilet and a balcony. Breakfast until 10 am, free use of wireless computer technology and many other little things are matter of course to us, like a bottle of water in your room.
The focus in our timber house that is more than 100 years old, is not on TV but on rest and recuperation. Our sauna participates as much to relaxation as does reading before the crackling wood-burning stove accompanied by a glass of good wine.
Our ecological principles do not only include the utilisation of solar energy, heating with wood and sleeping in woollen bedding, but also the use of regional products for our substantial breakfast buffet.
Connoisseurs value both our small garden with its unique panoramic view from the Eiger to the Niesen and our cosy living room as a place where one can meet others, exchange tips or simply listen.
